"So easy, you'll nail it!" | Fuse Gelnamel

Today I want to show you how to do your nails to get the gel nails effect using Fuse Gelnamel nail starter kit! (Buy it here for £35.00) I got one in shade Na No Way, which is a bright, pink colour!
The process is so simple, you won't even need to leave the house!

Fuse Gelnamel is a nail product, that's a bit like gel and normal nail polish! It's something in between.
In their starter kit you will find :
Fuse LED lamp
  • - Fuse Gelnamel (10.65ml)
  • - Cleanser
  • - 12 lint-free wipe
  • - Double sided nail buffer.

It's a fantastic product, making nails look perfect! I've had it twice on my nails and it lasted me about 6 days, so I think that's a lot. It stayed perfect until about 4 days after, which is a big plus for me, because my nails polishes usually stay perfect on my nails for about 1 and a half days.
The Fuse Gelnamel is so amazing that you won't see the uneven nail polish lines on your nails. If you will accidentally touch something with your nails while they're drying, it won't smudge like a normal nail polish would. If you touch your clothes while the nails are drying, the fluff might stick to the nails, and you might think that the nails are ruined, but it can be simply cleaned, which I'm going to tell you about in a minute.
The Fuse Gelnamel on your nails looks completely different than normal nail polish. You won't even see which way you were applying the nail polish with brussels, because it simply looks perfectly even, and that's what I love about it!
I'm going to tell you more in easy steps, right now!

Step 1. With The Fuse Gelnamel you have to do one nail at a time, so finish one nail, and then go to the next one. So, we're starting with buffing the whole nail. The key is in details, and base! So if your base won't be perfect, your finish effect won't look perfect either.

Step 2. Wipe the nail using the cleanser and lint-free wipe! You get 12 of them. If you will use just one for all the nails, they should last you for a long time.

Step 3. Apply a thin coat of nail polish. They suggest you to apply one very thin coat, but I usually apply 2 (after the first coat dries). It makes the colour look more vibrant, and less see-through, even though it chips off easier if you apply 2 coats instead of just 1.

Step 4. Put the finger in the Fuse lamp, use the little button on top of it to turn it on and cure for 30 seconds. Don't worry about counting the time  as the lamp automatically turns off after 30 seconds. To connect the Fuse LED lamp you can either plug it directly into USB port in your computer/tablet or through the USB plug into the plug socket. Whichever is easier for you.

Step 5. It's our last step. All you have to do is wipe the nail with the cleanser just like you did before. I usually wait about 5 minutes, as I think that I might wipe too much wet polish off my nail, so I wait for it to dry a little bit longer. I usually do my other nail while I wait. Wiping your nails with it will make them look squeaky-clean, and will get rid of all the fluffs.

TA-DAH! The process of using The Fuse Gelnamel couldn't be any more easier and fun right?
Then just finish off your other nails and you're done!

Good morning, sunshine!

We currently have the best season of the year, and that's why I want to start doing more OOTD posts on my blog, as the weather is gorgeous, so I can actually go out and take styling pictures!
The other day, me and Sam went for a walk down the beach and for a little, cold drink in Harvester. We're lucky enough to have our Harvester restaurant on the hill, right by the beach, so we could sit outside in the sun and just enjoying the lovely view!
As it was about to rain, I decided to dress summery but casual, so I worn my white top with pink and orange sequins from ASDA George. I bought it for £18, and a week later it was on sale for only £8. I was pretty gutted about that, as you may guess.
Jeans are from Pull & Bear, like most of my jeans. I think Pull & Bear makes the best quality jeans, that are affordable! I've bought them a while ago, and they costed me about £20.00. They still fit me perfectly, and hasn't shrank or stretched at all. I started shopping for jeans there after I kept getting disappointed at buying jeans from Zara! They make amazing clothes, but horrible quality jeans!
The next thing that I worn that day was my newest buy which is the prettiest, white DUNE hand bag. I actually got it from a huge sale! Before sale it was on for £79.00 and I bought it for only £32.00, so I was a happy girl! It now became my favorite bag! It's super handy, even though I'd love it to be a big bigger, as I love putting my jackets in my bags in case it gets cold ;)
We did a lot of walking with Sam, so I chose comfy shoes! Nice coral leather sandals from New Look for only £7.99! They're super cute, and top of the sandals is gold so it looks very pretty!
Oh...and the cute hair band I got from Top Shop, for only £4.00!

Top - ASDA George £18.00
Jeans - Pull & Bear £20.00
Bag - DUNE £32.00
Sandals - New Look £7.99
Hair band - Top Shop £4.00

What do you think of my outfit? If you'd like to see more OOTD posts on my blog then please tell me in comments :)

Helen E | Stage Matte Mousse Foundation

I have always been pretty neutral about mousse foundations. I think that the best way to apply it is with your fingers, so it can get messy and I like everything to be clean. That's probably the reason I don't use them too often. The last time I used one was probably a few years ago.
Mousse foundations are oil-free, which is great for my oily skin. I also like the textures of them. The one I'm showing you today is a Stage Matte Mousse foundation by Helen E Cosmetics in Hepburn, which is the darkest shade. I always get my foundations in one of the lightest shades, but this time I got it sent to me to review it, so I didn't get to choose the shade I want. I got tanned lately so I made this foundation shade go nicely with my skin tone. The packaging is really nice and simple, although I think I'd like it better if the pot was glass not plastic.
This mousse foundations stays on for hours, so you can go out with your friends without worrying about re-doing your makeup. Now, the coverage isn't that big. You can still see all the freckles etc, so it's pretty natural. I think it's just perfect for summer, when you don't want to go out completely makeup free, but you don't want to have layers of thick makeup on either. It's very light, long-lasting and oil-free, making it perfect for this time of the year. When I want a slightly more coverage still using this foundation, I just put some more concealer on. I use concealer with it anyway, as I have uneven skin tone, and I wouldn't feel good without it, but I'm sure other girls can use this foundation on it's own. It also blends in amazing, without leaving any awkward lines.
I'd definitely purchase this mousse foundation again, just maybe a shade or two lighter.
You can purchase it here for £15.00.

If you've ever tried this mousse foundation or any other Helen E products, then tell me in comments what you think about them x

Keep the shine away | MONU

Hello!

Today, I have something for girls with oily skin.
What if I told you that you don't have to struggle anymore?
This Mattifying Lotion from MONU Professional Skincare is something every girl with oily skin needs. I've tried some mattifying products before, but they only did a little bit of the job. This product is the first MONU product I've ever tried, so I couldn't wait to try it.
I tried it and I loved it. It works amazing and makes a huge difference to your skin.
It instantly reduces shine from your skin and makes it matte, so you don't have to wait for days to see the results. If you want to see the best results then you could use it twice a day. In the morning and at night. It will keep your skin shine free and moisturised all day long! This lotion/gel is very light and makes your skin feel super fresh and light as well.
If you do have oily skin then you probably know how hard it is to keep your makeup stay  in it's place without shines coming through it. No matter how many layers of foundation and powder I put on, nothing seem to keep the oiliness under the makeup. If you also have that problem and you want to prevent this from happening, than you should use this Mattifying Lotion before you apply your foundation as it also can be used as a makeup up primer, which is great! It's a fantastic products and I'm not sure how it works for other people but it doesn't prevent my skin from getting oily in the future it only works while it's on my skin.
I must say that the price of this product is a bit high, but if you're looking for a great product for oily skin, then you need this lotion! Buy it here for £22.50.

If you would like to see more of MONU products, then why not visit their website and
Twitter account.
